1. Returns and Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery.
Items must be unused, in original condition, and with original packaging.
Eligibility for Returns:
Damaged or defective books.
Incorrect items received.
Non-Returnable Items:
E-books or digital products.
Books purchased during clearance sales (unless damaged).
2. How to Request a Return:
To return or exchange an item, please follow these steps:
Contact Us: Email us at support@bookland.in with your order number and issue description.
Return Authorization: Once we receive your request, we will send you a Return Authorization and instructions for returning your item.
Shipping the Item: Package the item securely and send it back to the address provided in your return instructions. You will be responsible for the return shipping cost unless the item is defective or damaged.
Refund or Exchange: After receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will process your refund or exchange. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
3. Refunds
Eligibility for Refunds: Refunds are available for items that meet the return criteria outlined above. Once your return is approved and processed, we will issue a refund.

5. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please notify us within 2 days of receiving your order. Provide photographs and a detailed description of the issue, and we will arrange for a return or exchange at no additional cost to you.
Defective Items: If the item is deemed defective, we will offer a full refund or send you a replacement at no additional charge.
Damaged Items: If the item is damaged in transit, we will replace it or issue a refund upon receiving the returned item.
6. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund within 7 business days, please check your bank account and contact your credit card company or payment provider, as it may take some time for the refund to process. If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@bookland.in.
7. Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order before it has been shipped, please contact us immediately at support@bookland.in. We will do our best to accommodate your cancellation request, but once your order has been processed or shipped, we are unable to cancel it.
8. Exclusions
The following conditions are excluded from the return and refund policy:
Items that have been altered or customized.
Any items that are returned after the specified return window.
Items not purchased directly from our website.
9. Return Shipping Costs
Customer-Paid Return Shipping: For returns that are not due to damage or defects, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
